So i meet this HB8.5 this past Saturday and i got her number. I'm currently away from home and will be back in two weeks. I want to set up a date with her, but i cant until i get back home. Should i text or call her in the mean time or just wait until i get back home?

I would say so. Postponing isn't a sign of weakness, actually when done right it can build attraction. People want things that are harder to get, if you aren't instantly available and have other important things to do, you will be perceived as having higher value.
I say call her so she doesn't think you just flaked on her, but don't be overly apologetic. Just be straightforward and lay the facts out for her. If you have done a good job building attraction, she will be looking forward to the date until you get back, and anticipation is a very good thing to instill in a woman.
