Anyone else get caught out in the same way and how did they get round it? Would it be safe to say there is no point persisting with this girl?


Word of advice to all don't use canned lines.. use books etc to help you but always put your own spin on things!

You mean she knew the whole routine, and knew it was a routine, or had just played the game before?

I would just say "A mate told me it and I thought you would like it. And I thought you were fun! " or similar.

Thats a bar game. Lots of people will know it, not just PUAs

She I was just about to run the routine on her and had just finishing telling her the rules of the 5 questions routine.. and then she said.. have read the game by neil strauss.

I was like .. "um yeah, my friend gave it to me and that routine is probably the only thing I remember from it". then I said: "have you"?.

and she said I've read bits and pieces, and smiled and said "you are obviously an average frustrated chump". then said "I've got to jet".

At the time I cared, because she had stumbled upon what I see as a secret, my secret weapon if you will and I felt exposed by her knowledge of the game and the fact she had read the book.

Now I don't really care. She has my number she get on to me if she wants.

Just hope she isn't totally creeped out.

With hindsight I would replied to her "you are an average frustrated chump" remark by saying "that makes two of us" but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I obviously need to work on my inner game!

oh come on. Theres absolutely nothing you can do once a woman smells your bullshit. thats why i NEVER use canned material, nor routines. Its not me, and its not the way to go.

why i dont use routines cause u are bound to get caught every now and then.

dont use routine written in "the game" or those by mystery. they are most likely the one that has been overused.

i know the feeling bro! I was in Nordstroms with a few of my friends who all knew I had read the game and when they say this hottie in the mens department they put the pressure on for me to open her. I've read alot but never had the balls to actually do anything about it so I did the whole who lies more men or women bit... She says to me "isn't that the line that guy used on that show on VH1?" Yeah I felt like a tool!

I see slip ups like this as part of essential learning, as a result of this. I'm starting to understand the game a little better.

It mostly about being able to think out side the box. and for me thinking outside the box does not involve using canned material.

Someone recommended using the cube earlier, but I have a feeling I would have been caught out using that as-well. I'm sure it is better if you use your own material.

Since reading books like the game and browsing this forum.. I have become a lot more comfortable around beautiful women and have one hb9 tell me that we have an unbreakable connection. FYI the only canned material I used on her was the best friend test But without 'knowledge' I would have taken her on a typical afc date paid for it and been as nervous as hell around her.

I read this somewhere on the forum, I don't remember who it was, but I give thee credit. Anyway, If you ever get caught using a canned line, especially towards the beginning of an interaction just say "See, I knew that shit wouldn't work. Book/show was entertaining but completely made up. So anyway..." Not sure this would really work towards the middle of the interaction, she might suspect that you've been using it the whole time.

this is what i would use if i got caught using canned stuff.
