Read a few books in the last few weeks because I see a load of great babes and just don´t have a clue how to attract much less close on a great hottie.
I am 38. being out of the game half a lifetime due to a marriage that went sour and now am trying to get back into it and get a bit of action.
Anyway, I have been doing some practise in the field and seem to be going from bad to worse. Last Saturday night my first set was OK but not going anywhere, I had the sense to get out just as the boyfriends appeared.
I can approach but it just doesn´t seem to go anywhere. I was reading Mysterys book and he says that your game improves with no drink but when you are shit scared of crashing and burning your game doesn´t sometimes happen at all if you don´t have a little dutch courage.
Anyway. It is early days, I have a load of crap to deal with, approach anxiety etc but I have faith. After the first two set, i approached a couple of girls that weren´t really my type but I felt I just couldn´t sit in the bar and be looking around like an idiot. The girl really tore me apart and it hurt like hell. I felt so embarrassed and left with my balls in a sling. Jesus!!! Why are they sometimes so fucking nasty. I only asked her the name of the singer of the current song.
At work there is a babe or two, but I just worry about what people think and stupid shit like that. Either way, I asume I will get rejection so why bother.
Anyway, if at first you don´t succeed try try again. so I will keep trying. The cold approach requires a certian amount of balls and it doesn´t seem to be going away.

I feel for you Mister E. I've just started posting on this forum, but I've been gaming over 3years now, and let me tell you it gets better.

First things first. Don't take the first three months of approaching seriously at ALL whatsoever. To get good at this you have to have thick skin. Treat it as if it were a video game. Press restart after every set you approach. Let's say you were a telemarketer working for AT&T cold calling people to join your services. Out of 10 people you call, lets say 4 automatically hang up on you. 2 flat out say fuck off, 1 wants you to give them more infomation but then hangs up after five mins., 2 more laugh at you, and only 1 tells you they'll return your call. After you've done this 10 TIMES OVER, that'll be 10 out of 100 people who return your phone call. Think about it? Who gives a fuck about the other 90, you have 10 solid customers. Period! That's logistics. The question is are you willing to work for those ten??

To sum it all up, stop trying to build rapport, stop trying to get to know them, stop ASKING for validation... give value, but let them earn it.
