sounds cool and all, but honestly, regardless of me liking girls, if any one told me this i would loose some of the confort. then again, im not the typical girl. If any one starts to sound too secure, i tend to think they are show offs and i cant stand that.

If you initiated eye contact and she catches you then you MUST follow the three second rule. Go and speak with her.

If she initiates eye contact with you and you catch her, do the head to toe look of her then look back at her eyes and gesture "come over here" with your head. If she comes that's 2 IOI's. If she doesn't come after 3 seconds, you go to her and at least have a backup (so you won't DLV) for why you came over to her.

If you don't go over to her you have to look occupied so you won't DLV. even if she's ugly. She might be checking you out for her friend.

Try this: If you catch a girl staring at you several times, go up to her, ask her "whats up with the staring?" If she has a big smile on her face, starts laughing (regardless if she denies staring or not) say, "you gave me the stalker eye" in a sarcastic but confident manner (like you're irresistable and women stalk you all the time), then walk away. She may end up playing along with you, (i.e. joke about stalking you, etc).

Generally if you don't know if someone is interested, it is IMO, best to pretend that they are interested. It comes off as confident, and is better than acting clueless because women want you to know without them having to tell you. If you act clueless (and she likes you), you will look stupid, insecure, and inexperienced. Instead, act like you already know that they like you, and that they can't have you, regardless if they like you or not.

Another example would be if a woman does something quirky or slightly annoying say, "stop it, you are losing your chances with me."

Anyways, interacting with a woman (one-on-one) is the only way to really gauge why they were staring at you in the first place. When you are talking to them, eye contact, the way they smile at you, and laughter are key things IMO. Gaze aversion is a likely signal that they are not interested. Staring them down or overanalyzing without approaching them is not conducive to anything. That will just leave you frustrated and more confused.

Just takes practice. It might feel weird at first. When I started as a pua in 2005 I struggled with the same things. I started practicing eye contact with women and it felt like a stare down, like you might have with some dude who wants to fight you. Finally I blew through it and learned how to give women on the street eye contact with a flirty smile. Women love that flirty smile. Learn it and have women stopping in the street waiting for you to come talk to them.
