Anyone tried it?

I am still quite AFC'ish, but I tried talking to this girl a couple of weekends ago, on a train to Bristol (UK), usual AFC chit-chat. Just wasn't really into PUA scene till then! Still, got a decent conversaion going, although only for 20 odd mins as I was oo scared to walk up and talk to her till then.

There are pro's and cons to this situation, it gives you enough time to talk, but that could be too much. Since you can't just 'sarge' with anyone around the train, it leaves you susceptible to the target pretending to care about what you say if you talk for too long.

Any pointers?

make it seem almost casual in conversation and get to telling her about your amazing day or something that you just have to share (DHV story) then invite her to a coffee kinda like that movie Unfaithful hahah. well, gotta go....

Well, Before Sunrise is the perfect example of that Marvin, although that involves a day-long of heart to heart talk which I can do.

Its the pick up stuff I cant....

Yet.

When you talk, give yourself some false time constraint.

"Hey, you're sitting in my favorite seat!
I have to get back to my friend in the other train, but I just wanted to say hi"

Then roam the train.

That being said, if you really have a good conversation going on with her, you could easily talk for hours. (not sure how long the train ride is there!)
