First of all, she said she was 21 which is only two years older than you said you were (but only one year older than you actually are... ????) so that comment seems out of place. But honestly if age really matters to her, I think it was more than your response to her remark that led her astray. If you ran solid game, and demonstrated maturity beyond your age, it really shouldn't matter.

Don't know if I've misinterpreted your post but it looks to me that YOU brought up the whole issue of age. If it's a problem to you then don't bring it up

I've been caught out by this a couple times and rather than find an answer to it I've found it's best to just avoid this problem altogether. Age cropped up last monday for me, the first time in months and I literally just blanked it and carried on talking and she didn't bring it up again.

If you don't give them a reason to kill the interaction then they wont do it.


---EDIT--- It has just come to my attention that I didn't convey myself 100% accurately earlier... When I said I "blanked it" the conversation went something like

Her: I'm 22
Me: Oh! You don't look it. (she really didn't)
we carried on talking

What was funny is that I had got my hair cut that day and it made ME look a fair bit younger than usual.

Personally, the age thing has come up a few times with me...In fact, I'd say I actually bring it up on purpose as a way to tease them...if they are older than me, I tell them that it won't work because the guy is supposed to be the older one in the relationship, and if they're younger than me, I make fun of them for liking older men...doesn't really matter how much either, even a couple of months is fine to give them shit for it

Fact of the matter is that NO NORMAL 21 year old female wants a teenage boy. NONE. ZERO. Most want a man in his 30's who is straight, has money, is their boss, and doesn't act horny and desperate.
