Basically i met this girl through some friends we get along well quite a lot of kino she snuggled into me. Ended in a number close. She texted me quite a lot with iois and we organized to meet up, then an hour before she texted me saying she couldn't make it and had a good excuse, very apologetic. What i didn't realize at the time was that she said raincheck? at the bottom. so i just replied no problem your loss, ignoring the fact that she was asking to reorganize. We didn't text for a week but then the next weekend i saw her at a party, she was really apologetic again and we got along well. I tried to isolate her twice by asking to go on a walk and to come to the shops, both times someone else decided to follow us along! so annoying. When we got back the second time a fight had brocken out and everyone was leaving. When i got home she texted me saying nice to see me and asking for my freinds number. (is this a sign of ljbf?) We ended up texting back and forth virtually all day, she asked what girls i was interested in i said i had a few because i never like to rely on just one, she replied saying so you have a fair few after you. I teased her about flirting with my friend she said she wasn't and that she liked him as a friend. Have i messed this up? Do i still have a chance?

You didn't really mess up. The one major thing you need to change is you want the focus on you, not some other guy. When she is able to talk to you about other guys your starting to drift in the friend zone. And you got to take a dive sooner or later. When she said she wasnt really into anyone there you should have asked what about me .

Dude, if you're getting a bunch of IOI's, it's time to cut the crap and give her an SOI. Let her know you're interested. When you planned to go on a walk and someone else decided to come with, you should have said something like:

"Haha, come if you want, but it might be pretty boring... I know I don't like being a third wheel "

Or something about how it might be awkward for them because this girl is gonna be all over you. Let them know in a fun way that you want to be alone with this girl. If she likes you, there should be no problem.

Or when she asked you about girls you like or whatever. Say something like "well I'm TOTALLY in love with this girl. she's really cute... blah blah blah (start describing her)...I don't even care that she's totally lame "
