where i live there are maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad mexican girls all over the place and some of them look really good. most of them dont speak a word of english and im only about 40% fluent in spanish. this might sound hopeless, but these girls are super super happy 10 out of 10 times ive approached them (presumably because im the only white dude who's ever bothered) and ive gotten a good amount of numbers.

obviously language is a very important factor in pickup, but are there any strategies i can adapt to minimize it? i figure for starters im going to aim for quick and direct sets, and work a lot on my body language.

This summer, i'm going to a 1-week vacation in Bulgaria (I'm french), and I dont think many girls speak english there. Will it be painful to sarge or is there a hope? Have you got any tips/advices for dealing with those girls

This doesn't answer your question directly, but have you thought of taking a class to improve you foreign language skills. It may be an excellent way to meet beautiful women who have the same problem you do.

To answer your question, you already have a solid opener. Walk up to a girl and tell her in broken Spanish your ears are very beautiful. When she laughs look dumbfounded and ask her how to say her smile is very beautiful.

try and use a translating service to get a few phrases out. google's is pretty good. go to translate dot google dot com (it won't let me post links yet)

learn some common phrases like:
-you are very beautiful
-what places are fun here? can you show me some?
-do you like to dance?
-where can we get a drink?

One thing I've learned from sarging overseas is that foreign girls LOVE IT when you try to speak in their language, even if you fuck it up. They will laugh and giggle, but they're not laughing AT YOU... they're actually liking you try and impress them, PLUS they're thinking, "Oh shit, how do I respond to him in HIS language??"

actually Auree, most of the bulgarians I ran into speak english very well. So, no worries. and their hot as hell.
