So I guess you could say it was my first PU from approach to close at basically the party of the year, but I guess you couldn't because I knew this HB7-7.5 from school. I opinion opened (black nails), ESP twice (7 didn't work, but 3 did), ran a cold-read (archetyping) that I got off a non-PUA related book, pulled an amog disarm ("i'll give you a hundred bucks to take her off my hands") and finally kiss-closed it with the classic "Would you like to kiss me?" (she said "i don't know" and I winged it.)

Anyways. Back to school the second day and played it off like nothing happened. Here's my questions:

1. If a girl messages you the next day saying sorry about possibly doing something embarassing due to alcohol, does that count as her qualifying to you? (i replied with "far as i can remember, you were pleasant company. no worries")

2. How should I rock the Day 2 on this? (Technically a day 3.) Thinking of asking her out but my buddy says I should getta know her a bit.

1) Yes.

2) I would plan a day two for 5 or 6 days for something "traditional" like dinner, but then in 3 days call her and have her do something with you. For example, tell her that you want to go test driving cars... take her to a bunch of dealerships then go grab a sandwich at a deli.

ice arena usually works for me when i decide to just go out with her.
It's nice and fun, loud music is playing. Some nights its almost like a club environment.
Theres some pretty good neggs you can do there too, mainly about how bad she is at skating or somewhat.

I'm pretty sure you'll think of something, you seem to have everything down pat. Seeing as you havn't kiss-closed too often (I read your other post) a K-close that has never failed with me is.

It generally works the same way as the "would you like to kiss me?" routine, sometimes it just gets boring to say the same thing over again xD
I think it works well because you're not asking her to kiss you, you're already implying that she wants to.

rafc: so how'd you get home from the party and such.

HB7: blah blah taxi blah blah lost voice blah blah

rafc: blah blah, so i'm probably going to a movie this weekend, you should come along (I used the whole predetermined choice and shit)

HB7: sure! -oh, crap, I'm going away this weekend

rafc: is that the BEST you could come up with? please (C&F, rolleyes)

HB7: no, i'm serious

rafc: what about next weekeend eh? (regular tone, didn't know how to react)

HB7: maybe

now, I know she's not lying because my buddy found out from her brother earlier that their family were leaving spring break. but:

a) how could I have handled the situation better

b) what should my followup consist of?

hmm, i dont think you messed up at all. Mabye you could have negged her a little bit more for "Bailing" on you.

I say send her a funny text message when shes on her trip. Just dont drag it out too long. its alot better saving conversation for when your talking to them face-to-face.

A text a use frequently is "Aliens are coming to kidnap all the good looking, sexy people on Earth. I know you'll be fine, im just txting to say goodbye"
