I've spent the last year and half in eeuu since i departed from Peru, and I still have some problems with the girls and people here, Its hard to connect with people here. I thing is something cultural or maybe that i don't have conversation topics. Plus, I am still trying to speak a very clean and clear english,I can talk in proper english and stuff.

Help? anyone... ?

Patience is a virtue, my friend. That may be the first thing that you need to work on.

Secondly, just because you believe that you are clearly and properly communicating does not mean that others believe the same thing, you should always be working on your communication skills. The differences between the Spanish language and English language are vast, in the matter of pronunciation and general grammar.

You referenced conversation topics. Maybe you need to do some more research into current events and other socially relevant material, those are always fail-safe topics for conversation.

Thanks Medic...and guess what ..my pronunciation is not bad at all, it just need improvement. And for the conversation topics...I have read some posts here and they helped me.
