Well I've recently started gaming. I have opening down pretty well as and building rapport alright. Anyways the other night I'm at the bar for a friends birthday. We were seated at a few tables and it was pretty tight. After a while this girl comes over and sits next to me and just starts putting her hand on my thighs and leaning up against me. Pretty soon she was on my lap and everything was going great. I number closed, but we really didn't talk much and build rapport. Adding to my dilemma I'm leaving town next week for a week or so. Should I call her this week and say something like hey blah blah blah, anyways I think we should grab lunch sometime, but I'm leaving town next week, so maybe I'll shoot you a call when I'm back in town. Or option B. Should I wait until I get back to call her?

I'd personally just do it now. Then leave, and if you've done a good job, she'll be eager when you get back.

You know what they say - Absence makes the heart grow fonder. And it's true.

Waiting a couple of day's is fine.

More than a week and she's cooled off, unless you were THAT hot

I agree with wolfus, you should do it now, from the sound of it, the birthday bash wasnt insanely hot, so she will be cooled off if you wait to long, go for it, what have you got to lose?

Something like this is better:

"Hey, I'm heading outta town next week for _____, but I'd love to see you before I leave. I've been meaning to check out _____. I hear they do a great ______. Let's try it out, it'll be fun. . ."

If gives you a "no" for any reason you go, "OK, I guess we'll have to take a rain check for when I get back. I'll ring you." - You probably won't need to do this. When you get to that date, demonstrate your intentions and set up your next date. (Something specific in terms of what and when)

I called her tonight. She says her schedule is super packed this week. The fact that I leave Saturday morning doesn't help either. The call went mediocre in my opinion but I'm not going to let it phase me. Anyways she said she'd like to get together when I get back into town so we'll see if it actually goes down.
