I use mine. I tell them my real name then I just tell them to call me Bedrock. Then they ask why. They always ask why. Well long story short, I stood up for one of my chick friends which resulted in me getting in a fight. Later the dude (whose ass i mopped the floor with ) was talking to one of her friends and said whenever i punched him it felt like a huge rock was being dropped on his head. And since my last name is Bednarik (and for the people who follow football, yes im related to chuck ) ) my chick friend just combined them and out came Bedrock.

I've been Waffle since before PU. Waffle was born from complete sillyness and what is left of me. I stripped everything away and found who I really am, and Waffle is my true self. Choosing a name for yourself and embrassing it shows a lot about your character. Think about it... a waffle is nothing but a pancake with missing pieces, but still oh so delicious. I usually get a WTF, this guys loves breakfast look. And my name comes in handy for ice breaking too, so its all good.

I always use my real name in the field, but that's mainly because I dont have a nickname! I wish I had one though!

I go by my signature, which you see in kangi on my avatar. My login ID on here is because of some security issues I have to deal with. Plus, it sounds a lot like my name.

Plus, I am very sincere in my interaction. Life is too short to waste time with deception, unless the deception is for a joke, because life is too short not to laugh as much as possible. Or. for security reasons.

Captn, started as a nickname, and became the alter ego, yeah, its an alter ego, its the name I use to get myself out of my own head, which includes work, school, what I ate for dinner, and whether or not people like me. . . Captn doesn't care, so Captn has a lot more confidence. I become the real me, when I have to do business.

I occasionally use my PUA name as a funny nickname, but most of the time I use my real name.

Slywalker is a clever word play that comes from one of my other nicknames, it's fun to use it when sarging sometimes. Just to try.

I think its a bit odd and incongruent to go by a nickname, especially at least if you made up that name yourself, like a cover identity. I understand the whole "mystery" concept with a name like Mystery, but there is plenty more to uncover after the girl learns my real name, and I like starting off with an honest face. Women appreciate that, there are more than enough lying men to go around.

My real name is Ian, and since I was always the only Ian where I grew up, I never needed or received a nickname (ok ok in basketball I was "laser-goof" haha), so maybe thats my reservation for nicknames. Daggaz is just my age-old internet handle.

That said, I will play the name game with girls, where you tell a group of people a different name for each person and then make them guess which one was right =P
