Umm..... Dude... we all agree money counts.
But it's not EVERYTHING.

I want you to shove 1000 dollars in a girl's face and say "let's have sex."

Um Fin check out this Newspaper article- to sum up PUA all all about "smoke and mirrors" and believing your own hype.

http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style ... 28181.html

The source was from a UK investigative journalist from a leading K newspaper The Independent- see what you think

Hmm, that link to the independent didnt seem to make a joke out PUA. Frame, the only criticisms in that article are caused by two things:
1) they want to make it more interesting so people read it.
2) the person who writes it doesn't fully understand.
Dont even try and tell me the writer does know all about the PUA community because that's bull, guys can spend years here and not understand women, social skills or even themselves so do you honestly think he got the whole picture in the time it took him to write a back page story? Unlikely.

That article you linked also shoots your argument so hard in the foot it may never walk again,
Quote:
kind of central London nightclub where well-dressed, well-moneyed and occasionally well-mannered chaps think nothing of ordering a 1,000 round of drinks on a weekday evening. She's surrounded by such men, and yet the one she's exchanging phone numbers with is an unlikely charmer from the East End, who sports pink highlights, questionable facial hair and a pair of faintly naff, square-toed black shoes.
So the rich, well dressed (looks) and polite guys are being pushed out the way by AFC adam who isn't (as the article says) showing any of those traits?

Couple of points with that article.

1. It suggested repeatedly that PU techniques work.

2. How much do you know about newspapers? For those kinds of articles it's never been about accuracy, it's about news - interesting and entertaining news-, for your average reader saying...

"the community unlike it's stereotypes contains both men and women, and the most of PU is based on self developement and recently the game has inspired a flood of the socially inept, this was not always the case, and again their are many in the community regarded as "naturals" or "average guys". Each school has it's own methodology, Mystery Method -although commonly looked down on as dated and "obsolete" in comparison to new thoughts in the community- is the most commercially popular."

That is quite boring, it's the same with MMA, it's entertaining to make jokes about it's homoeroticism, even then it doesn't mean the writer has disrepect for the MMA circles.

It's more entertaining to say "PU is a load of reformed nerds wearing funny hats asking poeple obscure questions to start conversations while pretending they are not interested, all lead by a mysterius figure cunnigly called "mystery"".

Becuase it's... well.... funny, if I saw a comedy video parodying the stereotypical PUA I would probably laugh. But the humour wasn't aggressive, it wasn't malevolant, it wasn't even disrespectful. In fact their wasn't much "humour" made at the PU communities expense.

3. The critisms were problems inherint to MM, but not necessarily to the other area's of thought regarding PU. This shows a certain lack of understanding with regards to the community. Although the interviewer cannot be blamed as all members of the community who were quoted were from the MM circles.

Example: Adam discussing how he got called out and his responce, was ottaly different to my usual responce. If I go indirect and a girl calls me out I just agree with her and let it go direct from their on.

Can i vote for this to be locked since there is no longer discussion going on, the quality of some posts here are questionable and generally if it needs someone to bump it there is little interest.
Can we just let it die...
