I have a question about routines. What purpose do you use them for to gain an advantage? In other words since I am not using them to entertain her as a puppet how do I go about attracting her with them? Is it the idea of her thinking your a lot of fun so you are of higher value to her? In other words and here is the key question, what is the point of them from my point of view? Can someone explain this to me so I don't mess up what I'm doing.

Good Question.

The point of pre-prepared material or you might hear it referred to as "canned material" is that you already have something to say. You do not have to improvsie conversation. For some people who are already nervous it's hard to improvise opening lines, attraction stories, and fun things to do.

The main idea is that these things are already tested and proven in field to work and help build attraction, comfort, get kino escalation, etc. all depending on the routine of course. You know it will work if done correctly. Some people can memorize better than they can go in and create conversation out of thin air. For those people these are a good way to go.

Even if you like to be more "natural" and just improvise your openers and conversation they give you a fall back if your mind blanks for some reason.

So effectively, there just there to make it easier for the AFC to help him? But then what makes her think of me as attractive rather than a entertainer. How do such routines like Styles 5 Question Game or Mysterys Bin, Marry Shag game get the attraction towards me. Is it because I have D'dHV and negged the target so routines are there to further that attraction?

In my opinion the structure behind any game routine or system is so that the AFC or PUA doesnt have to think too much about what they are doing or saying. If this happens people tend to think oh man what now? What do I say? They then panic if only a little and then WHAM you have nothing to say even basics like "my names joe" are banished away and you sit thinking oh man........Patterns and stacked routines help to reduce or eliminate these awkwardness moments and thus the interaction seems natural and less forced. the hope is that by the time you run out of routines and that you can swim on your own by giving good aspects of yourself and then making conversation and entertainment from that.

I know some of my wording may come across as odd, but sometimes I just cant find the words!
