So I've been dating this girl for about 1.5 months. No sex - but we did have some fun a couple weeks ago.

I'm out of town for the week for work (as I've been the past month...I travel alot for work and I come home most weekends).

So I'm done with this...and know I need to break it off - the sooner the better. I plan on saying my travel and work are too much for me to get into a relationship right now.

Any of you guys ever do this kind of thing over the phone? Or is this something that I need to do in person (waiting until Friday when I get back into town).

I think you can do it over the phone. Its only been about 2 months so its really not that long of a relationship.

You might want to do it over the phone but at least be home when you do it.

Well that went easier then expected.

I told her that I didn't have time for a relationship. She mentioned hanging out this weekend I said I wouldn't have time for work. Then went into that I won't have time for a relationship.

She said thanks for telling her then got off the phone quick....

I'm sure I'll catch some sort of shit for this (she was a friend of a friend), but I feel good about getting out when I did. She was ready to give it up and I wasn't ready for a long term relationship.

Here's hoping for more fun to follow.
