it was really inspired about the Chris Rock routine about how when you got a girl, every other girl wants to fuck you, but when you're on your own, ain't nobody want your dumb ass. ;)

this is a way to get that inner feeling any time, with or without a woman already in your life. it's really an unfair advantage, and ain't that what we are all looking for?

You guys are going all Zen on me  . Seriously, you have no clue what Zen is. Someone who lives a Zen life is not going to worry about picking up "chicks". That goes against the whole practice of Zen. Desire is not Zen. Zen is being. Zen is a white slate. Zen is mindful. Zen is 1 + 1 = 1.
Somebody who lives zen is not worrying about picking up chicks but when there is a vagina and an erect penis . . . and when there is no vagina and a flaccid penis . . .

Zen is being . . . thus zen is desire. (This is not to be confused with "desire is zen)

Zen is a white slate? Really? Then what is the black slate? Black zen?

Zen is 1+1=_, thus 1+1=3. Thus 1+1=2 . . . but mostly, 1+1=_.

You read a book or two haven't you?
LOL :)

^Totally agree with everything said. There is no right...there is no wrong, there is no black and there is no white however, there is duality?, there is shared morals and viewpoints, there is NOW. Everything and nothing exists @ the same time.

Want a hard example? Tea ceremony :D

How does this apply to PU? It has everything relating to it, just most people take it @ face value and say...naw it doesn't.

After I did this exercise last night, I went to a club where I really didn't even talk to anyone, and not only had every girl there looking at me, but had a girl come up to me out of nowhere, drag me to the bar, by me a drink, and make damn sure that she got to spend as much time with me as she could while I'm here.

Today I sat at lunch and watched people walk by, and I counted 73 girls, all ages, all races, all sexxxy in their way, looking at ME.

I looked just the same as I did on Friday. Well, actually, I looked a little worse, cos I'm wearing a ratty shirt and have been sleep-deprived and hungover for days.

But it's not what I looked like that drew them. It's the FEELING I have. It's the power in my body radiating out of my heart.

It's the magnet of my masculine presence.

Do this now, and track your results. Then be sure to let me know what you find.

I already know what's gonna happen, but I can't wait for you to find out.
When you stare at someone they will stare back at you whether its a male or female. If I was to do this exercise how would I know they are not looking at me and thinking (what are you looking at)or something of that nature.

Also I dont go out at all, once a month to a sports bar to watch the fights but thats it. What should someone like me ( who doesnt have a life or friends) ask a woman to do if i want to hang out with her, also should I pay her way too? I listen to metal and dress casually have long hair. not many women like the music i like and theres not a lot of places around here for that type of enviroment, and im not into dancing Theres bars, pool halls, malls, shopping centers thats it.

Had you posed this issue in another thread, I would have offered you a different answer. . . but I'm having too much fun with our meditation, inner-awareness topic here. . .

If you are truly in a meditative state and you're breathing with your lower stomach, and you're at peace . . .

DOES NOT EVEN COMPUTE.

Insecurity & sadness in terms of chakras and also holistic medicine resides in the upper chest area. (Which is why SM's exercise works in the first place. The opposite of insecurity and sadness being security & happiness)

When you're breathing DEEP . . . and your energies are calm and balanced, you will have the ability to channel this energy elsewhere in a positive manner. And anywhere you channel your calm energy will be a positive experience.

Next time you see somebody cry . . . or scream and yell in a fit, take a close look at their torso. The breathing in a "cry" is nearly ALWAYS done with the upper lungs. So before outer stimulus has the opportunity to affect you in a negative way, give yourself an opportunity to balance and store your energy low with deep breathing exercises in a controlled environment. Boxers do this in their locker room. Even executives will go to the bathroom or wherever to calmly get themselves in the correct frame prior to a big meeting.

Do this right and I can guarantee you that your "fears" won't even be an issue.

The second portion has more to do with game and routines so I suggest you try searching for openers, routines, closes, places to sarge, etc . . .

"There is a right and there is a wrong" is probably completely different from "There is no right and there is no wrong". . . . and I bet zebras and penguins wouldn't agree with "there is no black and there is no white."

When I was a kid, I had an opportunity visit this zen master monk dude in the South eastern mountains of Korea. Well . . . I don't remember much about the guy other than hearing him say a bunch of gibberish but I bought this hilarious zen comic book at the souvenir shop. I realized later on that the "funnies" were based on real Koans. I still remember this one in particular:

A master and his disciple are on a trek and they come across a stream where a young lady is stuck.

Master: Can you not cross the stream?

Lady: No I cannot.

Master: Here, climb on my back, I will help you cross.

Lady: Thank you.

Disciple: (He didn't really say anything in the comic but I would like to think that he popped a boner and thought, "God damn my approach anxieties!!!)

After the three crossed the stream, the lady went her way and the 2 monks continued on to a temple. There, they cleaned up, had dinner, and before sleeping, the disciple spoke:

Disciple: Master, isn't true that we are NOT to have contact with women?

Master: Disciple, I left that girl by the stream. Are you still CARRYING her?

I agree with your 1st pt, however that isn't the premise I was aiming at- of coarse there a right way and wrong way at the same time...the wrong way maybe the right way; its just not commonly accepted by society at the time. As of the second point, I was talking metaphorically. :)

As of your chakra view, yes..sadness resides in the heart however insecurity comes from the root and sacral.

super sweet, dude. i'm taking this even farther now and doing a lot of research into combining this chakra work with bio-feedback, therapuetic NLP, and all sorts of crazy computer technology...

there is more of heaven and earth than you find in your philosophy, Horatio. :D

Found a site with some koans that pertains to our topic:

Approach:

http://www.ashidakim.com/zenkoans/5ifyoulove.html

brand79's last question:

http://www.ashidakim.com/zenkoans/82nothingexists.html

Ha ha . . . the one I mentioned earlier about the girl by the stream:

http://www.ashidakim.com/zenkoans/14muddyroad.html

Also pertains to brand79's question: YOU are "What the hell are you looking at." You are also, "Oh my God, look at that gorgeous hunk!"

http://www.ashidakim.com/zenkoans/57the ... adise.html

I've think this last koan brings us back to SM's initial meditation exercise.

Ive done yoga for awhile , and am familiar with the sensations that youre feeling. I would say that your description of the postural exercice is a bit clumsy, though.

I wouldnt say it creates sexual attraction, you simply stand out. When youre standing proud, you contrast from the sea of hunchbacked people.

Do it in the subway and half the girls wont look at you adoringly, theyre going to sit straighter after glancing at you. Incidentally most that do so are cute because those that dont take care of their appearance simply dont care about posture either. Its coincidence.

When you hunch foward, your gut stands out. When a girl archs too much backward, as if she were not used to high heels, her gut also stand out. The girls that most people enjoy looking at are those who have a straight posture, because they look slim incidentally. This applies to guys also. It doesnt matter how fit you are, if you dont stand straight, you still might end up looking overweight.

The interesting thing about standing straight is that you end up looking down on people to talk to them ( when you hunch foward, you look upward). So you appear taller to most people, somehow. And also you let your arms wide open when you stand straight. When you cross your arm, you pull your shoulders foward and hunch foward. So standing straight with broad shoulders makes crossing your arm difficult to do.

Anyways im an AFC, so obviously im not getting boned over being a knowledgeable yogi.

i hear you, and understand your good points.

have you TRIED this yet?

cos... it's worked for a lot of people, including me. how it works, the details, etc... not nearly as important as results, IMO.

:)

In other words, when I walk in a dark room, I don't care HOW electricity works. I just want to be able to flick a switch and see.

:D
