New to Pick Up. How to get around situations.

I'm new to pick up and definitely AFC, however my game is picking up pretty good. One thing i need help with is getting around real life situations. It's easy enough when an HB says she has plans with friends, but what if its something important like a job interview or say, she plays on a college team and has a game? How can I get around things like this for even so much as a coffee date without sounding needy. I'm just testing the waters with girls in my social circle so I know and have been around the girls I'm trying to game.

Remember to dhv, so if i were to want to go get coffee with a girl i'd say.
"I'm going to /coffee shop / to grab some coffee, where do i pick you up?"
Or "I'm going to / coffee shop / to grab some coffee, you in?"

yeah i've got that kind of stuff down. but when after i ask, she might say oh well, i have volleyball, or a job interview. things like that. how do i get around things that are important and that she can't really change her plans for?

"Maybe some other time?" Tone of voice is what displays neediness or lack of it, not the fact that you actually do want to see her again. Just my unqualified opinion.
