Background: I met this girl when i went to the trainers room to get some ice. She was an athletic trainer there. She helped me get it and we started talking there just for a little bit. I asked her to pick up a gatorade bottle that i dropped, but while doing so, she said,"Of course i'll pick it up, you're the nicest person ever." -- I don't know if that's a good thing or bad. I just see it as a positive thing.

I have seen her twice since. We have just talked about classes and what time she works. It seems pretty dry, but she seems excited to see me whenever she does.

I feel like I need to break the ice and neg her somewhat so she doesn't think i'm a "nice guy". I need her to see me as a possible mate. If i get through this ice I feel like it will be much smoother and easier to talk and flirt with her.

Any Suggestions of how to deal with this situation?

Yeah that comment could mean you're in the friend zone or something..

I'd try to keep the conversations less dry and flirt with her...see what happens.

I'd say you are in a prime position to hang out sometime, phrasing it as "hanging out" removes the pressure of a date but shows intent.
Tell her you fancy hanging out sometime so you can properly get to know each other (don't phrase it like that lol). Then build rapport and be escalating kino and you should be golden.
