I know that usually we "move on" to get other girls. But for Fucks' sake I'm asking specifically how to get back exes and FBs. And whether moving on actually does get them back.

I've answered your question over, over, and over again but you just don't get it. Had you understood it, you might be giving your old FB the in/out, in/out right now instead of driving yourself crazy over this little issue.

I can now confidently tell you that there is NOTHING that you can do to get this one back. And nearly confidently tell you that you're probably headed towards a lengthy love affair with your right hand. Left hand if your lefty. Blow up doll if you're into that sort of thing. Well usually, when I just feel like I don't want the relationship to continue, I would tell her "hey, did you notice something strange about us lately?"
She will usually agree, and we will laugh about it for a while and keep talking like friends...

If she dumps me, and I want to accept the dump, I guess I will tell her that she is right, but I will still call her. Then just talk to her like a friend.

How do you emphasize that we want to talk like "just friends"?

My situation is that this FB was my admirer when we were kids at school (14-15), and she did everything to get me... she was my favorite FB... and I liked her more than any GF I had..., but after that we didn't see each other for many years.

When we did... sigh... I was in a period full of issues (including my health). She came to have sex with me and I was in a very bad mood, somewhere else with my mind. We ended up not having it.
After that she did me a typical "dump talk" as if she was a girlfriend, and we didn't talk to each other ever since.

Oh god I HATE it when females think it hurts our feelings badly everytime they don't want us anymore!
I hate this "we had sex for a while, but don't take it personally.. it's not you it's me.." atc.

I had that talk with a girl once.. and I told her, in a way-too-meany way that I weren't ever hers to begin with.
It was kinda harsh, but after a month she contacted me again just to talk and invited me over with some friends [at that point I didn't want her at all].
