There is this girl that I really like but I cannot tell if she likes me. I have known her for about a year and cannot tell if i am in the friendship zone or something more and she is just waiting for me to take the move. When I see her on the way to class or eating lunch, she makes fun of me and jokes on me. When I joke on her she gets mad and walks away. One time I saw her at the bar and she was drunk, she started hugging me and kissing me on the cheek. Were talking to her friends and she was telling them how I was her boyfriend. I could understand when girls get drunk that they flirt more with guys but telling her friends that Im her boyfriend?? Do you guys think a drunk mind speaks a sober heart?

It's easier said than done, but ASK HER OUT...that's the one way you'll truly know the answer.

If she told her friends that you are her bf, I'd think that's a good sign (even though it isn't true...yet). However, you say you've known her for a year and haven't made any attempt yet. I don't know how well you know this girl, but I'd make a move, and I'd do it very soon.

well, how would you explain her getting mad and walking away when I make fun of her? But she always makes fun of me? Is it like when your little kids, and thats her way of showing she likes me, by making fun and picking on me?

Try paying attention to her body language more when she gets 'mad'. There should be some minor things that tell if it's real or fake.
