Sometimes I'm really busy and I have to cancel/reschedule plans. How am I supposed to tell her that I have to cancel on her?

Flaking on her can actually work in your favor. as long as you don't flake all the time, you will be harder to get instead of the nice guy AFC who will miss work for any chance to hang with her. cheers

The worst is when a guy flakes, then gives some bullcrap or completely vague answer as to why....."hey, i can't make it." "Awww...sad....how come?" "Somethign came up....tomorrow?"

Well, sure, we'll make the plans, and maybe I'll flake on YOU tomorrow.

However, "Hey, I can't make it out tonight. I'm super tired. I'm off work tomorrow though, we could meet up then?" Sounds great! Just don't let the girl then see you out at the bar.

And as Mick3y said, It can work in your favor. We always want what we can't have.

hell i make dates with a few chicks at the same time just to flake on one of them.. They love it trust me... and heres the thing, if they try and flake on you back, you've got dates setup with one or more hbs.. so there flake has no effect on you.. its a pwn

I wouldn't let her pick the day, but I'd offer to reschedule to a time when we're BOTH not busy.

Let her pick the day, and if your not free on that day say, pick another! its fine, sometimes you can let the bullshit go guys, be normal!

Also, if you have to cancel the sooner the better. Nobody likes last minute cancellations, especially when you could have let them know a couple days in advance.

oh wow, didn't know this thread would be this popular haha. TBH, the questions I ask I already know the answers to for the most part, just need confirmation and/or new ideas. But the way it's done is you have to tell her why you're flaking, women don't like getting flaked, it SUCKS. Tell her you're willing to reschedule and what day would be best. Make her laugh or get her in a good mood by the time you hangup. That's what I did and she told me I should make it up to her so now I have more plans
