Evening all!

Just recently started reading The Game by Style, have been meaning to get into the material since first seeing the PUA on television. Always been interested in psychology, sociology, and the like, and have been reading up on NLP, body language, PUA forums and methods, and basically anything I can get my hands on.

Originally an Army brat, father retired in FL, and after going to University of FL, got a job in Arlington, VA, in IT as a systems and business analyst. Pushed myself up through the ranks from a low-level entry position to managing a group of fifteen. Planning on pursuing an MBA.

I'm an avid runner, currently training for a marathon, enjoy soccer, and have recently restarted a mild weight lifting routine.

Within smaller groups and circle of friends, I'm known for my sense of humor and relaxed nature and have no problem with negs or openers for the most part. In clubs and other largely populated areas, I tend to shy up and can't do what typically comes naturally elsewhere.

Have been in several LTRs, most of which I self-sabotage for one reason or another. Want to work on improving my sense of style, peacocking, reducing approach anxiety, and applying what I've learned from texts to real life scenarios.

Would love to go out with some veterans to get an idea of where I need to improve and some critique on general game. Look forward to meeting all of you!

Hey there whats up. I live in Arlington too...in Courthouse. If style is something to improve I can def help you there. Any other questions you have regarding a female's perspective don't hesitate to ask....there are also a lot of other girls on the forum now too. Zip, Killians, flypapermeems, and Cinnamon Spice are some regulars too. Welcome to the forum.

You sound like you're off to a good start. Having a friend with you to 'kick you in the ass' when it's time to approach isn't a bad idea at a club. After I finally found a wing in this god-forsaken city, we nudge each other... "Go on! Get to it!" we transmitt telepathically.

Shit works.

why would you ask this question?

allow me to enlighten you quickly: we're here to learn, teach, and help (depending on our skill level and desire.)

one of the most powerful tools a PUA can have is a woman as a wing.

MORE IMPORTANTLY: welcome, Ocean Ice!

Thanks for all the responses.

To 1984...guys aren't the only ones who want to know how to approach and much more experience, in most cases, of what does and does not work when approaches do not go as expected. What better to find out a woman's perspective than asking one? The real question you should be asking is why there aren't more woman and, for those here, how you can learn from them, or help them improve their game. ;)

To everyone, look forward to interacting with everyone in the community and learning. See you out there!
