Right, here is my problem -

I have been going out doing pick up for nearly a year on and off. I got sort of good for a while around january and since have been unable to achieve what i had. I have only closed 2 times in nearly a year!

Could someone please either map out what i need to be doing to get good (how many approaches a week etc) or tell me what I might be doing wrong.

I reckon I have spent 150 nights doing this so I am starting to feel a little bad about it

The best advice I can give is to find other PUAs in your area (e.g. through internet boards), sarge with them, and discuss game with them. If you haven't already.

That way you'll get to see different styles. You'll see what work's and what doesn't. What fits you. You'll see from what others are doing why some of the stuff you are doing are not working.

Once your past the basics, the best way to learn is to learn from actual co-students and mentors.

After reading a lot of material in any field, you usually have a pretty good foundation, but still with many holes in it. These holes are in blind spots that you have. These don't go away by reading more books. They go away by actually interacting with other knowledgeble people and getting feedback from them on your particular game.

Hope this helps.

Prize basically has the idea. Learn as much of the basics you can so all your missing is the actual interaction with people. I found that this is the only way to wokr out kinks in your game, b/c you can only learn so much in front of a computer screen.
Let us know how you do
Good Luck

It really does help to learn from someone in person so that you can model them and develop similar manerisms that are effective. Obviously you don't want to copy them exaclty and end up a robot, but almost all successful people became that way by modeling themselves off of other successful people. Just make sure the people you learn from aren't creepy weirdos and that you pick up positive traits, not bad ones. I learned some stuff from guys that honestly scare the shit out of me these days, but I just took the good things they did and ignored all the crazy stuff.
