So I'm sure the more and more you sarge and practice the easier it gets especially with anxiety. but WHAT do u do to build up enough confidence to start hitting on girls, sober, at any place. I know your just supposed to start, but if I could just do it I would've started along time ago. anybody got anything?

A short term solution is to think about good times you've spent with women.

In the long run though, you need to work on your inner game to the point that you fully don't give a shit about how women react to you. Because that's the main reason you're too scared to approach them in the first place... you're afraid of things which are out of your control. Rejection, criticism, ignorance, adverse or rude reactions, all of that stuff - not only should you be indifferent to these things, you should also see how they are all actually positive and how they help, rather than hinder.

Another short term fix is music. Music can draw out many emotions, and I'm sure there are those songs you like that make you feel like you own the world. It's like the upbeat music they play at football stadiums during timeouts. Those songs get the crowd into the game and get the football players in the right frame of mind. The same can be applied to pickup. So make a playlist of "confidence" songs and listen to them before you go out (or are thinking about going out).


But at the end of the day, success is the only way you can be confident ALL the time.
