Hey there, i'm new to this and haven't actually been in the field yet...should be interesting tomorrow night :)

I'm planning on keeping it fairly simply and just getting over AA with some of other's openers on mainly 2 sets but just wanted an opinion on this one - any help will do! (ps will be posting results if its thought worth a try)

"Excuse me, ive got to get back to my friends but just wanted a quick female opinion – should I shave my head or not as ive heard shaved gives the bad boy image – is that a good thing or a bad thing?" (ps something im considering anyways so kinda of want to know!)

Then depending on what they say (if different answers) I can go into the ahh so im guessing you’re the bad one and you’re the good one routine…kino here…if I have courage :) Can add in to the one who said its not a good look ‘I just reckon its because uve had bad experiences with that type’ etc

Or…(if same answer) ahh interesting you both are exactly the same, im going to take a guess and say you're best friends…best friends test

talking about hair is genius, women love it. Also if you phrase along the lines of "I am thinking of a new hair style what do you think I should do" it will allow the conversation to last longer and offer you up some opportunities to talk more, heres some examples;
"hahahha I knew a guy with that haircut, genuinely the weirdest guy ever, I am talking fucking ... Ted Bundy on crack. I would probably end up remembering him every time I looked in the mirror ... scary."

"You don't think that would look a little gay .... says the guy with straightened hair and skinny fit jeans"

"So glad I am not a woman, at the end of the day I can just shave it and it will look good. -comment on their hair-"

hope that helps :)

Hey Tesla~

An opinion opener is always a good choice, however the way it's structured can be a little better.

The overall topic of the opener is fine (whether to shave your head or not), but it's the "Excuse me" at the start and time constraint before the actual opener.

In my opinion and from what I've read, you should never excuse yourself for opening a set. Act like you are the prize here. Tell yourself that they should be greateful you are providing free entertainment!

Once you have finished your opener and heard their responses then drop the time constraint and continue on with anything else related to your opener or not.

Also, take your time. Speak slowy. (but not annoyingly slow...you'll know what that is)

With all this you should get off to a flying start.

Good luck! :wink:
