like me: "o so what are you doing after the gym, just going home?"
i do this like all the time. i'm guessing cause i'm nervous about having nothing to talk about so i take it upon myself to keep blurting out words.
should i just chill and stop w/ the implying? is it good at all?

"so what are you getting up to this weekend, staying in and watching tv?"
other times it can just lead to one word answers, which you've probably found out for yourself...

"where you going after the gym, MacDonalds?" with that you'll have something to talk about like, how people may go to the gym often but still eat junk food or the silly, Super Sized BigMac, Large Fries and a "diet" coke
sarcasm and jokes always seems to ease a conversation for me _________________ 2 choices either Fade away, or go down blazing!

If its like 9pm at the gym on a monday night and you ask what are you doing after the gym... its comes off as a pretty dull question. A whole days of events have gone by that you can easily talk about, or something exciting thats coming up on the weekend.
