Hey all...I believe this is my first topic. Let's see how this turns out...

I don't like the phone. The fact that I'm talking to a person I simply can't see makes conversing with them very tough; I like body and eye contact, I like environmental cues, I love it all. On the phone, I'm a whole other person...and it is hurting me now more than ever.

There is this particular chick I've been gaming for a while, and as of the middle of December, I won't be seeing her for a little over a month (my university's winter break is a month long, and my family and I thought it best I stay home this break). Now, this would be fine if I were good on the phone; her and I ended on a real good note before I had to head to the airport (we cuddled on the couch for the 15 minutes she could spend with me before I had to head to the taxi), and all signs were go that something more was starting. But there would be a month until I could see it with my own eyes.

So my problem is having good phone conversation, essentially the only way I can contact her for the next four weeks. I have this phone conversation problem with everyone (girl/guy friends, family, etc.) except for a select few (such as my big brother), so this isn't an "OMG HOW DO I TALK TO HER I LIKE HER SO MUCH" kind of situation. It's a simple personal problem I have that I've been trying to work on.

So how do you keep phone conversations fun and interesting? How do you accentuate your strengths on the phone when most of those strengths are built on face-to-face interaction? In the particular case of gaming a girl, how do I build attraction over the phone over a month long period?

Bro I havethe same problem....I am dating a girl who lives 4 hours away so i do most of my talking threw email or text....I talk to her on the phone only somtimes and I just told her i dont like talking on the phone....It the truth I dont lol Im not good at it so i just dont do it often.

The way I see it, phone game, just like any other form of interaction, can be improved with constant practice. The only thing is, if you're "practicing" on a girl you are after, there's the chance that practice will make perfect...just after she's been bored to death a thousand times in the process. In a sense...maybe I should go sarging, get some numbers, and practice on the girls that I number close...sound like a good idea?
