hey guys i am a fresh out of the box newby and i tried my first attempt at over coming my AA last night, and i was wondering if i can get some pointers..

2 girls, on a couch, took me about 3 mins to get up the courage :S (3s rule out the window huh) but yeh i opened with, hey (hey) are you interesting??? (umm what u mean) to talk to?? (im not sure why) cause my mate is boring me and im looking for someone interesting to talk to...

after that the Anxiety was all gone, for the first 5 mins the usual fluff talk happened and we both seemed to be doing well, anyways she was a 7.5-8 and i wasnt sure if i wanted to go there but i thought id try for a # close for practise and confidence.

at about the 5- 10 min point when things were at there best, (she thinks im interesting, polite, confident etc) is then when i should have tried number close and bailed? i wanted to, but my mate finally folowed my lead and went up to chick B and they hit it off, so i thought well i cant leave now, so ill see what i can learn from this situation.

i became WAY too cocky (whoops) and she saw right thru me, i did a half assed palm read thing, do u know what this line means? it means u like guys in white shirts( me). and she grabs my hand and goes u know what this line means?? it means ur not getting laid tonight.

from then on it went to shit but cause of my mate i had to hang around for another 30 mins with her, and we had nothing to talk about and she had lost interest, thinking i was just a massive sleeze. i tried to keep up some form of conversation but it was more like i was interviewing her after that. interesting part was she didnt mind the kino, one arm around her and one on he leg etc she seemed to react well to it.

is my problem not bailing when i was on a high?
i think maybe i get too confident when the approach anxiety is gone i get cocky and assume she loves me.
this is something i have to fix cause untill now i have just got by on looks with girls normally approaching me. etc but that doesnt exactly happen every time i go out and i want to learn the ways of the mpua.

anyway im proud of myself for even doing the approach part, i amazed myself. but how do u just keep the convo going and going?? how high do u have to get ur social proof ranking untill u can be direct?
