Ok dudes. So i have oneitis and i realize that it probably wont work out with this girl. it was HOT in the beginning and now its cooled off. I tried one last time to sexual flirt via text and she doesnt even respond to it. So i am definitely a FRIEND!

Anyways i deleted her from my phone book so i can slowly eliminate her from my life. but i imagine she will text me every now and then. Should i respond? if i respond like i did today then i just went back into severe oneitis mode. BUT i dont want to be a dick either, however i dont want to be her friend. ALSO what about facebook? should i delete her as a friend? i think that might be too much but the less i think of her the better.

However, I shall answer your question anyway.
First off, don't delete her. I have had some issues with a girl I deleted long ago and lets just say it didn't end well. Meeting her on the streets didn't help either. Awkward.
With that being said, the reason why people have one-itis is because they lack options. That one special girl comes along and shows interest and you suddenly label her as special. Guess what? She's not special. The cure is to go out and meet more people. Once that special star, she will no longer be a problem with the many stars that will be in your life. If she comes crawling back, well, now you got more options

if nothing is going to happen between you and this girl and you don't even want to be her friend, thinking about her and talking with her more will do nothing but bring you down. we all went to be UP right? down is the opposite of up...you catch my drift.

if she isn't sending any brainwaves towards you, don't waste any on her. she doesn't deserve it.
