I might just torpedo my whole business here, so I apologize to my business head Shawn Keegan pre-emptively.

Here goes.


I wish I'd never read about pickup. I wish I'd never attended a seminar. I wish I could get it out of my brain.

Everything I learned from PUA gurus fucked up my relationships (even the first-night-stands) more.


But the thing that helped me most was BECOMING a coach, so I had pressure on myself to figure it out and go talk to girls all the time.

In fact, that's my advice for any man who really wants to get better, fast. Tell people you TEACH this, and you will get your ass out every single day learning... fast.

And you'll find you don't read the gurus anymore, because their stuff really doesn't help you right now, and you don't have time to do 1000 sets.


So ask yourself this: what is stopping you from teaching someone RIGHT NOW? What if you told a friend you teach men how to meet girls, and then go show him some basics. Show him what you know, and then take him out somewhere, and go "open" a girl or group of girls by just asking for the time, or telling one of them they are cute. Your friend will be AMAZED.

Trust me. I've taught literally hundreds of students in-field, and hell, I've BEEN a student in-field, and the simple act of walking up to a cute girl, especially in the DAY, blows guys minds. They literally never thought it possible.

So here's your challenge. When I started coaching, I had no qualifications. I took one workshop on daygame (and ignored about 80% of what I was taught). I had listened to a bunch of DYD products. I read Juggler's book, and Zan's old masf archives. That's about it.

Yes, I had been with some girls, but not hundreds. Not thousands. Hell, I could count the number of girls I approached in the daytime (sober) on my hands. But I wanted to do it. I knew I could teach, and I knew I could sure as fuck learn this for myself if I just did it instead of thinking about it.

If you think you can't do it because you haven't had tremendous success with women, consider this: I personally saw people who had not touched a girl in months become coaches at reputable companies. And some of them were really good teachers. So it has nothing to do with how much you got laid (honestly, how many girls do you think TD had slept with when he started RSD?)

So... why not you?

Take back the power. Fuck the gurus. Be your OWN guru. You don't need to train under them. You don't need to pay them for lessons. You need to be INSPIRED, and find your own way.

Start now. Stop being a student. Be a teacher. Way cooler.

Well, I think most of us take every chance they get to teach this... It is not until you can explain something to someone else that you have truly understood...

To get back to the main topic though - I found that teaching guys was way more demanding than learning myself. I actually had to make the demonstrations WORK instead of goofing around, which is my favorite pastime in the field

don't forget this point we all miss.

MOST of the real teaching is NOT in-field. in-field is so hit and miss, and so fast paced and random, that teaching there is like teaching someone how to drive an F1 car on the track in a race.

yes, you have to race to get it, but for every hour on the track, you better put in 10 in the classroom or you're toast.

shit, everyone on here can teach a buddy better body language and how to make eye contact and smile. everyone needs work at the fundamentals.

so why not start today? tell your buddy that famous PUA Sean Messenger certified you. I don't mind.

Your post reminds me of the ending to "The Game", maybe your just reaching a turning point in your PUA life. You might have hit the same point that Style hit.

I have a theory that all PUA'S once they reach a certain level all have a turning point that opens their eyes up too what the real truth is. And the real meaning of the game.

Im glad you feel this way about the PUA life and that your not in the game just for cash.

The only thing keeping me from teaching more regularly (and I do teach, just sporadically) is this: I feel you should not do something you are good at for free, and I lack the marketing expertise to make as much money as I feel I'm worth.

That said, I have two guys I'll be teaching in January in a mini-workshop, and I have plans to set up a slightly bigger affair some time in February or March. A good friend hooked me up with a marketing strategy that I think will be more effective than my previous attempts, so here's hoping. ^_^
