I wanted to post this in the general section, but my post count isn't high enough. If you were anything like me, while researching ways to improve your attraction with women, you've no doubt read and viewed the summaries of a ton of other ebooks. Why did you choose this one? Another one that really caught my attention - and in all honesty, seems so far like the best - was the GuyGetsGirl book. Has anyone ever tried this one? It seemed to be extremely scientific, however, I didn't buy the whole "written by a girl" thing for some reason. Just a feeling. I'd kind of like to have some feedback of whether this has honestly worked the best, or why it was chosen over the others.

I'm seeing this "Ultimate Natural Game" thing at the advertisments,and I really want to check it out when it's released. The Gambler PUA is probably my hero now. I can't believe a guy like him (he looks like that dude from Lost) was a 21-year-old virgin. You can't imagine how much hope that gives someone like me if that really is true. I can tell you right now that I'll personally read every word he says that I can find as the red words in a PUA bible. He sounds exactly like the kind of guy I want to be.

this forum is kinda homely people know each other to a degree and makes it kinda like chatting with friends good times. as for books and things, i read as many as possible, you can learn something from everything

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're under the impression that people of this forum are all followers solely of the methods promoted in "The Game" (Mystery Method and Style's renditions of it).

Our forum aims to be commercially unbiased even though Gambler owns the site. We have PUAs from every pickup discipline from Mystery Method to Speed Seduction to Gunwitch method and more. Lots of different opinion are on this forum, making it really great! It appears as though most other pickup forums discuss issues strictly in accordance to their company's teachings. We, on the other hand, like to stay uncensored.

GuyGetsGirl is Mehow's stuff, right? I've researched ALMOST every pickup company's methodologies out there, and in my opinion I don't think his material is so great. Effective for some people, yes, but I think it's way too similar to Mystery's stuff to count as it's own method. Besides, Mehow doesn't exactly have the greatest reputation in the seduction community anyway.

Haha. Well, I don't know who Mehow is. GuyGetsGirl is supposed to have been written by a chick. Named Tiffany Taylor or something. I don't know why I thought that you guys stuck to only one form, I guess maybe because widely conflicting opinions would confuse you and ruin the teachings a bit, but I guess not.

I saw the sales letter for that GuyGetsGirl thing from Tiffany Taylor a couple years ago and, if I remember correctly, my bullshit alarm went off so I never looked into it. Now you understand one of the many reasons why you need 50 posts to start a thread in the lounge.

I initially got into pickup via The Game and started out with Mystery Method simply because I knew the most about it after reading The Game. I went natural a few months after that, and now consider myself to be largely part of the RSD dojo.

I ended up here because I spoke at a workshop with Chief and I wanted to keep in touch with the students, and this is where Chief is.

I decided to go and read the Game probably after hearing Gambler speaking on Youtube, seeing Strauss and how he transformed himself, and recommendations I have had from other non PUA forums. In fact I haven't started on the Game yet. I am still reading Without Embarrassment, by Pilinski.

The reason I had chosen this forum was just that I googled it and found a lively forum. I did not know Gambler owned the site. I thought he was just blogging on here or something.

Really? Like I said, I'm very intersted in what Gambler has to say, given his biography on the featured posters banner above us. I'll look him up on Youtube, but if you have any links to his more obscure speeches/presentations, I'd greatly appreciate them. Or a link to the topic they may already be in, if a compilation topic exists.

Yep, I think any good company has some free content out there so you can get a taste of what they are about.

I think all the main dudes on here have some free stuff out there... correct me if I'm wrong...


When I started off, it was newsletters, free e-books, and audio snippets.

From there I found what material resonated best with my personality and style and gravitated towards what I liked...

Now I produce the material.

Haha, just playing.

That said though, the biggest value I got out of ANY "PICKUP" material was either in field training or DVD sets, not e-books...

After seeing the youtube profile "Thesocialengineer" he has taught me that I can pick up women and get their number in under 3 minutes with something really simple and effective. However I joined these forums to read and learn on how to improve on what I say and how I should say it.

I have never read The Game. I hear it's quite stupid to be honest, but never the less much <3 to Style and Mystery.
