| The standard PUA stuff works, and people tend to get addicted to what works. A lot of dancers do so to make money for college. Then they get their Degree and they get a job making $1k/wk. Well, if they're used to making $5k/wk doing a lot less they may get tired of the mundane job life and go back to what works, despite the unfair social stigma that they get cursed with.
The question is do you want a relationship, or do you just want to get laid? If you are hoping to get a relationship out of it, then you have to switch gears and be yourself. You are only being yourself if you are being who you are when there is nobody around. That's why being a PUA is always being at least being 1% fake, and for many women that's all it takes to lose the relationship. That's why when you ask advice from most women they say just be yourself. What they're really saying is for god's sake don't act like someone else.
Hey the stuff works and it can get you laid, and if that's all you want go for it. The problem is you may meet a great girl, that ever so rare perfect counterpart to you that would make you complete. If you were in "just get laid mode" though you may have just blown your chance to have a relationship with her. You'd have to come clean totally to hope for a shot at a real relationship. That doesn't mean be a wuss, it means be yourself.
For some men they need to sarge and be successful a number of times to build their confidence. Once they have confidence in their pickup skills they still have to build their confidence with their sex skills. Of course to get good you have to make it good for her, otherwise you're just getting laid. All of which may actually be stepping stones to the real goal of being good with women, but they may not be necessary either. Pickup as a science is still in its infancy so it'll be a long time before we really know. I suspect however in the future inner game and natural game will be a far more successful line of study.
Just having a friendly and fun-loving personality, good mindset, a good frame, and a respect and love for women is far more effective than most of the techniques I've seen so far. Fortunately, from what I've seen that means you've come to the right place as the featured posters to this board to my knowledge espouse these beliefs. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
