With New Year’s Eve fast approaching I was thinking about spending some time to get together openers or routines that were specific or would work well on New Years Eve.

The only thing I can really think of is a routine or opener based around “New Year’s Resolutions” or "They are really nice earings/bag/clothes, were they a christmas present? Oh there still nice".

Resolutions:
- Cold reading girls resolutions (check out the most common resolutions below)
- Negs or disqualification based on resolutions

Xmas Presents:
-used as neg, compliment or avenue of conversation

Openers:
- "What’s the time?" (Easiest opener ever on New Year ’s Eve?)
- "So what’s your New Year’s resolution? No wait? let me guess!" (cold read just something funny/silly about them) eg "You look a bit feisty? I bet your always getting into trouble, I think your new years resolution is to stop causing fights, or count to 10 before you lose your temper"
- To smokers, "so let me guess your new years resolution then..." after 12am if they smoking "so you've blown your new years resolution to give up smokig already! then..."

Routines:
- Good girl / Bad Girl routine modified for Xmas
- Last New Year’s Eve DHV (That reminds me of last New Year’s eve when blah blah)

I am just thinking out loud and will keep on modifying this as I think of things. Anyone else have any ideas?

Sounds awesome, I didn't think of that myself.

I'd say you could, if you're a funny man, try making a few jokes out of new year's resolution, perhaps make up a few yourself.

Also, here's a push pull neg, "Nice earrings, did your homeless uncle get you them for christmas? Or (Quickly) Was the dollar store having a sale?"

I dont mess with openers or routines, but, since these came off the top of your head, most likely they will work for you. good improvising
