i'm having trouble figuring out whether this HB9 i'm working on is confident or insecure.
this is fairly important because i'm seriously laying off the teasing and stuff because i dont know if she can handle it or not.
she seems to be fine most times, but there are times when i detect a hint of possible insecurity bottled inside her...

one example was me asking her what's one of her favourite qualities about herself, apart from being decent looking. she didn't like the "decent looking" much, which suggests that she knows she's fit as hell. she then proceeded to say that her favourite quality is probably the fact that she's comfortable being herself... so it would seem that she's pretty confident.

then later on i called her a hobo, her reply was something along the lines of "wow, arent the compliments just flying around today, first decent looking and now a hobo. i'm so flattered" to which i just replied with "i dont like complimenting pretty girls, especially not with empty, generic compliments" (thought i'd throw her a bone here)
she was quiet for a bit and said "well, you dont have to be nice. i dont take compliments that well anyway"

what do you guys think?
i have a theory that all girls are actually insecure and that some are just better at handling shit than others... but i have nothing to back it up with so yeah... kinda lost in this one.

to me she is shy. lay off the negging and try and show her some energetic storys or something to get the energy flowing. shes a turtle you need to get her out of her shell.

ey dude... if its nix then you're spot on. she's confident for the most part but she has her days where she's insecure.

otherwise, the girl you're describing here seems to be more assertive than insecure. tease a bit, see how she takes it.

i dont really know where the other guy comes from when he says that she's a shy little turtle... i'd say her sarcasm and the fact that she even just mentioned it would probably indicate that she's not that shy....

i honestly dont think a shy girl would call you out on you teasing her.
