So I got laid off from my job not too long ago and I'm currently drawing unemployment. I'm pretty sure that is considered a turn off. But then again am only 20 years old, live with mom and dad and just graduated high school a few years ago. So I don't really have the same responsibilities that an older guy would have to burden. But I could be wrong I guess. Should I stop approaching for a while?

Discuss.

I'm sure someone will tell you it isn't, but I don't think I could approach if I didn't have a job.

Do not stop approaching dude.
You now have plenty of time to approach.
But you also have plenty of time to be looking for a new job too.
Wake up early and go for a jog.
Then spend half the day approaching hotties and the other half looking for a job.
Imagine how many girls you will talk to if you can spend half of every day approaching.
And if they ask you what you do for work just make up some interesting bullshit.
HER:"so what do you do for work"
YOU:"Im a dance instructor"
"Im an aeronautical technitian and i fix jet fighters"
"Dolfin trainer" (that ones a bit old though)
"I teach guys how to meet girls"

I am only new to this though, im sure there are other guys on here who can give you better advise.

Man I haven't worked for the last three months! In that time I've taken home way more girls than when I was working. Including a HB9 who was three years older than me. I still live at home too!

Girls respect me for not working. I tell them that happiness is more important than money. They usually fall for me saying stuff like they have never met anyone like me!

I have been travelling around everywhere and doing heaps of cool things in my time off. So they ask me what I have been up to and I have all these mad stories to tell them so I come across as an exciting person!

It's all about who you want to attract. Personally I don't want a gold digger, so it doesn't matter if I work or not.

Just be your self and if you don't have a job be proud of it. If you feel bad about not having a job than it could be a turn off because you may come across to girls as unhappy.

In no way has it affected my chances of picking up. It has actually helped me because my life is so much more exciting!

If spun right it could be a DHV she doesn't need to know you got laid off you can tell her you quit, because you wanted something more challenging or didn't feel it was leading anywhere, so decided to get out instead of wasting your life away in a job you hate.

Then cap it off with a short, a lot of people grin and make do with the shitty hand they have been dealt but you want to get more from life, mention you want to go traveling and see the world before you settle down and you will be set.

Also it is probably not a bad idea to do that, you are young and free. Get out there work in bars around Australia, or round up a few mates and backpack Europe or Africa.

Unemployment doesn't change shit in your game. I have been unemployed for two months now (my wing, Solomon for even longer) and we still manage to go into the city and do day game every week.

As glorious as growing from the inside out is...THERE IS ONE FACT. If anyone on here had serious money they wouldn't be on here!! Money can and does attract. People die for it. People risk their freedom for it. People make fools of themselves for it. Girls are no different. Money is Sex. Sex is Money.

I have plenty of savings I am just smart enough to spank them on women, money doesn't equal sex it equals golddiggers and they aren't what everyone wants.
If you want to get women and that is your only goal why chase women in clubs why not just get hookers, they will like you probably as much as teh women that are drawn to money.

Plus the hookers actually has an interest in making you happy so you will come back for more. Unlike gold diggers that just want to use you.

As far as being unemployed, in todays economy where most places are in a recession of some sort, I don't think a girl that had at least an idea what is going on economy won't hold it against you for being jobless. She be more interested in what you are doing about it as well as what you are doing in your new extra time. As well as your attitude towards you being jobless.

I disagree, I have so much more to talk about now that I haven't been at work for a while. So many hilarious stories to tell. I guess I'm all about picking up a chick who hates work as much as me :P

I am not working either. I got out of work due to depression at not being able to get a girlfriend. The truth is you can be anyone you want if you are a good liar. I don't think I am that good at lying. The problem for me is I live at home with parents and can't bring a girl back to where I live as it is a dump.

I don't entriely agree with that. I don't feel money itself necessarily attracts. Money, for a guy, gives him a confidence boost. If a guy is well-off, why not be hapy and confident? This confidence boost is what is attractive to people, girls especially.

Bland, you mention you are only 20 years old. Not sure where you are living, but in the US, people at that age are usually in college. A lot of my friends on campus do not have jobs because they are "focusing on their studies". What I am getting at is if someone asks you what you do for a living, you can reply by saying you are "studying to be a _______" which has been your dream for however many years.
