Developed a nasty little emotion. I think im in love - but it has the traits of one itis. She lives half way across the country and we talk everyday on the phone - and I cant have her because of the distance. Just in case this is a one itis I want you guys to list your own methods of dealing with it to see if I can find a way out of this shithole.

Congratulations man! Or should I say Im sorry to hear it...

I still can not deal efficiently with One-itis but I got something that helped. At least it mildened the pain. I tried to find things that I found annoying about the girl, small things. And I tried to understand my feelings. I still love all the things that I used to love about my oneitis and for very good reasons. Then I realized that we were physically and mentally perfect for each other (or not, it doesnt matter). Based on this there would be a good chance to get together if we met when circumstances were different (one less boyfriend (or less distance in your case)). So I decided to keep her as a friend, a non-sexual unlabelled relationship until circumstances change. There is no denying that love for more than just the initial shit and strong attraction for good reasons stands the test of time. And I told her that I will see other girls and if she wants me to stop that she can just make sure we end up in a relationship.

I had the same thing recently, with a girl who lived in Kent of all places lol but yeah the best advice I can give is just do what feels right, think about your reasons for being in the game and the possible perks of it being a long term relationship.
If you still want to knock this on the head mention you are learning PUA, if she sticks around you are set.
