im going sarging this weekend, and i want to stray away from the canned opinion-based openers.

i'm in sales, and when i recruit new reps i typically ask people if they know anybody who is looking to make some money and can talk to people. this usually makes them qualify themselves to me, b/c they want a job.

i figured i might be able to alter that to suit the PU game, so hows this for a new opener:

"Hey, I'm trying to meet some girls that are actually interesting, do you know any?" obviously delivery will be important, so i'll say it with a relaxed smile.

i figure the girls will either try to qualify themselves to me, or they will try to set me up with one of their friends.

if they just say "No," i'll be able to neg them with something like, "I didn't think so, but if yo find any, let me know!"

opinions? is it a bad idea to jump to A3 without really DHVing first?

that could work actually mate... however if they say no, i think your response isnt up to scratch. Say something along the lines of:

"No need to be so negative, im sure even YOU have some interesting traits..." (she is then forced, again, to qualify)

Keep it playful, and they wont think you are an asshole. In fact, i may test this tonight.

Just be wary, if you tell them you are looking for girls, you are putting yourself in the zone where you may be qualifying yourself to her, remember, dont look interested in her (in that way) too early...

thanks for the advice, i'm going to try it out tonight as well, i'll use it at least 5x and gauge the reaction from that.

i thought about the fact that i'm projecting my desire to meet girls, but since i'll be desiring to meet interesting girls, and not just hot girls, i think it might be a DHV, since it kinda implies that i am used to hot ones (or i wouldnt be so cool in opening their set), and that the beauty aspect isnt good enough for me.

obviously since I wont be moving into C1 right after this, i'll have time to DHV by telling a story where i mention how boring my ex was, and i can make it seem that i am plagued by boring women and that if my target plays her cards right, she might be able to win me over.

of course its all theory until i try it, if you use it also, let me know how it works on your side of the pond, i would love to have such an effortless opener.

dude i think it would work great maybe looking around alittle while you say it. i do like the second guys come back to no though.

everyone goes to bars to meet the opposite sex so your being honest almost and playful flirting at the same time. plus it seems like an easy lead into conversion.

i did go downtown last night, but i went with my homeboy from the USMC, so i got drunker than usual pretty quick. i wanted to use this opener, but for some reason the only set that i opened the whole night i used my standard opinion-based opener and got called out immediately. one of the girls (both HB6s) even asked if i was on the show The Pickup Artist. i didnt get to try it out, but the call-out was a clear sign that i need to try new game. i did, on the plus side, get some good experience with shit-tests and bitch-fields.

if i go out tonight, i'll be sure to use it and let y'all know how it works.
