I thought this up the other day and I have been field testing it when the need arrises. Basically, I'm sure we're all familiar with the "Cool man." response to Amoggers (if your not, basically you reply, if you reply at all, to a plowing amog by simply saying "cool man" and then returning to your conversation). I use this when an amog says something thats actually a pretty good zinger and your at a loss for a response. the response is:
"Coming from you, that really means something."
There are a few resonse I like this (although you can't keep using it, but save it for those "special" ocassions):
1. It really sounds like you've said something back, but it's really hard to know exactly what you meant by it. did you just insult him? compliment him? He doesn't know.
2. it's easy to calibrate this to the situation simply by changing your tone/emphasis/facial exspressions/etc.
example:
Amog: What are you some kind of faggot? Only a faggot would wear a jacket like that.
you: Well, coming from YOU, that really says something. (roll your eyes)
etc.
I dunno, maybe I've over thought this one. Lemme know what you think, or if you field test it, lemme know how it goes.

Yea, just throw the jacket back at him. Using reverse psychology is very effective, not just in the PUA world, but also in LIFE general. AND its fun! That example you gave is awesome. Simply flipping the script is all it takes and making a joke out of it.

I tend to agree with Juggler. Why bother with it? Just like a street performer, you're going to have to let the audience decide for you. Ask your audience what they think....hang with him or me. Trying to out do an AMOG doesn't make you any better than him. You're still preforming for attention.

I usually just disarm them before they have a chance to butt in, same with mother hens. When you see someone coming over you engage them first by being really nice to them, noone could rip you after that without looking like a dick. They usually realize they are screwed and leave.

I think it's a good one, like the OP said, the "AMOG" won't know how to take it... It's short, sweet and will get you straight back into conversation.

you're putting a lot of effort into blowing your own set and pissing the amog off. you might as well have replied with "fuck you, and fuck you girls". it'll have the same end result and will save you time.

different people have different opinions on how to deal with amogs, but most will agree that your response will end up blowing up in your face.
