So I've been through a rundown of the PUA stuff before, but not in great detail. The exercises of myself being the prize and respecting myself brought my self-confidence and self-worth up to whole new levels (this didn't involve any game, this involved things such as walking around campus at night reading affirmation cards).

Unfortunately, this has produced the asshole effect with me. It's to the point where when I get drinking or get going into a conversation I truly believe that the girl is completely below me, and unfortunately most girls are scared to even approach me (as one of my close friends who is a girl puts it, I'm "intimidating" to them) Doesn't help that I'm a pretty big guy too.

So, here I am to try and get back to letting out the "nicer" side of me, and trying to get rid of this mask that I've put on. Luckily, being a collegiate football player pretty much sealed the deal for me a majority of the time. I'm graduated, and now I don't have that to fall back on any more.

I have horrible AA if I let my guard down and do things out of the ordinary for me (such as complimenting someone and making it sound like a compliment instead of something I felt forced to say), so that's going to be my biggest concern. After that, I have a rough time with LMR, so I'll be looking at fixing that. I'm good at DHV (obviously) and the C/F attitude, unfortunately I usually push it too far. I know I'm an alpha male, but I just push that shit waaaaaay too far in general to the point where I'm getting unapproachable by people I don't know.

I appreciate all the help ahead of time and look forward to this.

That's good. It's def. better to be on that side than the bitch-guy side.

Anyway. I sometimes have that problem. Just display some vulnerability. Create comfort fast. Talk about family things, the time your dog died, that shit. Come across as human. Definitely approach with the "I AM THE SHIT" mentality, and then display some vulnerability.

It's said the most attractive men have a certain quality:

90% of the time, the woman wants to punch him in the face. When he cries she wants to just kiss him all over and then....

thats some good advice com.solo.

One time i showed a lil bit of vulnerabilty, I cant remember what we were talking about... and the girl said something along the lines of "you dont seem to be the kinda guy who would be bothered about that sorta thing..."

I kinda messed it up, i said something about being like an egg with hard shell (we had just been talkin about boiling eggs).

I shoulda made some kinda joke like "yeh im a bit like an egg, i only take 3 and a half minutes :P  "

ok that prolly wouldnt work either but at least it might make them laugh which is what you need to do, GWC.

I think if you become more of a fun guy to be around, the asshole stuff wont seem so prevalent as you'll be cocky/funny.
