Im in college, short, and noticeably balding. Now for the last year and a half i have worn a hat every single day. This is awful and has gotten worse and worse. The longer i wore the hat the harder it was to ever not wear it.
I know the simple answer is to just stop wearing the hat but i cant seem to be able to do that. Im dreading the eventual bald jokes and discomfort i will feel when everyone sees me. Now im also thinking that when people who have never seen me without my hat off finally see me with it off they will immediately realize how much of a pussy i was to always wear it before then.
Now idk if i this is something for a psychiatrist or what but this is by far my absolute biggest sticking point in being able to go after girls. I cant wear my hat forever and there have been many events or places ive worn it at in which it was definitely out of place.
Ive tried products...aint workin well. How do i get over this?

my advise is to shave it all off .... trust me on this ... bald look is in .

if i were you and were havin that problem ... i would grow a goatee .. make a cool facial hair design... shave my head ...

this is my take .. thank god i dont have this problem .

i have a question though .... are your moms brothers bald ? this is usually where you get the gene from ...

I have a similar problem, but my problem is my physique. Im a short lean person but Im always wanting to look strong and buff, so I pick and choose clothes that'll make me look that way or I'll try to wear something that is attracting (peacocking) for the HB(Hot Babe). Try wearing different styles of hat (that can be a great peacock).
Now this won't stop you from wearing a hat obviously, but it can help you build confidence when you're wear something that can receive compliments from a HB, and you start your game from there. When I wear something that sparks a HB to talk to me, I begin from there. And it's so far been successful in starting the game flow~.

However, if you continue having problems accepting the way your head is looking and is becoming a major distraction for your game/life. Then I would really suggest hair implants or just shave your head and get used to that new look!

There are many options for you. Just have to try them to see which works.

To Gideon... I'm with Sheesh... Shave it. You'll get used to it very fast, and you'll look like a guy who is comfortable with himself when you start sporting your new look. Just tell everyoen that you lost a bet or something, and then tell them that you like it, and are gonna keep it.

To both of you with the short problem.... Join a gym.
Short people tend to build muscle faster than tall people do. Honest truth. Building muscle will boost your confidence, and you will be at a great place to meet hot women. Trust me on this. And when you go there, you'll feel self concious (sp)....DON"T! Everyone starts somewhere. Just pay attention to your workouts for a while, and you'll notice some big changes in your body, and your game.

Thanks for the help guys. Yea my mothers brothers are bald. And she has 6 of them who are all either completely or significantly balding lol. Im only 21 though and this has started over a year and a half ago. The more i think about it the more ive been stressing myself out which has definitely not helped.

Definitely going to start working out and try to get healthier. Im in shape but its just due to my natural metabolism right now. I was thinking of trying different stress relieving activities like self hypnosis and the emotional freedom technique. Have any of you tried these before? Do they actually work?

Stress relief might slow down the balding, but if you're only 21, my friend, you are beating a dead horse. I'm sorry. It's inevitable for you. You might want to read Neil Strauss's book THE GAME. He shaved his head, and wore a wig, and even used that to open two very hot girls that were shooting down every guy in the bar one night. Don't think of this as a handicap.. Use it in your favor. Good luck!

i like that idea of losing the bet ...

short people do gain muscle faster than tall people because they have less to work with .. and they look more intimidatin in the end ..

what about your dads brothers if he has any are any of them bald

Only child with a full head of black hair. I mean its not so bad that i feel like i could go straight to a shaved head. I mean its just at that terribly awkwark, see through, and bald spot noticebly spreading stage. I guess i just have to go out normally but how should i respond when people say "looks like your balding" or ask me if i am or not. The answer is "well obviously" but id have to think this is pretty low value no?

If your pale your probably going to want to tan too. As for fearing the bald comments just make a few comebacks to them. I think I read this one in the game"well I had hair down to my ass but then I realized it was covering up my best feature so I shaved it off."
On the street in the middle of winter this bald guy with his hat off I asked him something about him freezing and he replied "It works as a solar panel to heat my body" or something along those lines.
I'm sure you can find more online too.

It's not the hair that make a man anyway. How many assholes do you know with lots of hair? The more you obsess over it, the worse it will make you feel. You are who you are, and you have what you have. Don't let it define you. Not trying to be mean, I'm just saying don't be so hard on yourself because your hair is thinning.

yeh seriously. If it's bothering you that much you need to get rid of it. You will look much more comfortable. If you don't like it, what you have left will grow back. Hats are cool but not if you have to rely on them.

Everything is about confidence, so make sure you have some.

Look at those bald police officers, they may not have hair but they can carry a bad ass attitude.
