Just because someone has 1000 post does not make their advice better than a person with 10 post.

Thats like saying a 21yr old is more mature than a 17yr old just because he's 21.... the two didn't have the same life experience. The 21yr old may have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth given everything in life and can't stand on his own 2 feet without help. While the 17yr old had to work hard for everything in life has the maturity and the life experience.

Someones high post count means absolutely nothing to me

Your missing the point, post count does make the difference. If I was a newbie if i see 10 people with 200+ posts all say "hey thats great advice there" i would take it on more than if there was only 1 reply and the guy has 3 posts.

I am not denying that there are people with 10 posts who give amazing advice, likly some people with high posts counts who give shit advice. But think generally....
Ur example of a 17yr old and 21yr old. Yes, there are some 17yr olds that are more mature than some 21yr olds. But GENERALLY 21yr olds are more mature.

You're absolutely correct you can't respond to every single post thats impossible.

Madals you have things very twisted

I'd ask what is the difference between viewing people differently because of high vote count and high reputation count? I ask because after some of your threads, you ask kindly for reputation or stars.
I dont see a problem with politely asking sometimes people need that extra push You're welcome to give me a vote if you like and if you write something i like then I'll give you one 2

Reo, my point was slightly off what your post way about. But just because the topic starter didnt give great advice, shouldnt the people who gave great advice in reply reseve credit?

Anywho, agree to disagree. I still maintain that if people simply agreed with the good and correct the bad advice given here the forum would be a lot "newbie" friendly.

I got ya now...some people here have too much pride to give others credit for giving good advice
