I was in one of my more frequented bars one night. I saw a drinking buddy of mine who was there with his wife and another married couple. Went up and said hello, he introduced me to his wife who I had not met prior. The wife and I hit it off and were bantering back and forth for a bit.

The other couple, who I had never seen before in my life, jumped into conversation with me. I got a lot of blah blah blah out of the husband. Then I started working on the wife. Again we went back forth, wish I had more detail on what was said. But by the end of it the wife was telling the husband to "make sure you give him your number honey." So I number closed the husband. And never called cause I was mixed up on the whole deal.

Were these people swingers, it didn't sem to me that way. It just seemed like the wife2 wanted a second day. But couldn't get my number with her husband sitting next to her. Dangerous territory I know. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

Just be friends with them and go out with them to the clubs for social proof. You never know, they could turn out to be great friends.
