Every time I go out to a bar or party, I've come across a couple people who act like a complete asshole to me in front of my friends and women who I'm talking to. It's like they're trying to bring me down or make me lose my cool. I just ignore them or comment back nicely, kinda joking around. I'm not one to fight so I try to say away from smart ass comments...For example, I'm a freestyle skier and I was talking to a HB about my trip last weekend, and some guy goes, "You're a skier? that's GAY" There are several more examples, but I'm sure you guys get the point...It's like they get the napolean complex and try to act all tough, big, cool, or better than I...What are some things to do to make them look stupid for saying the comments that they say?

I'd keep doing exactly what you're doing. "Yeah, dude, awesome" and then go back to whoever you were talking to. Don't accept the guy's challenge. Ostracize him by ignoring him. He doesn't matter.

More importantly, you need to CONVEY that you don't give a shit about him. The best response is to treat him like some irrelevant interruption and keep talking like you just forgot what he said or didn't even hear him in the first place.

You don't need to "do more" here. Be as passive as possible with this. Just forget about the guy and keep moving.

EDIT: Ooh, example. You know how whenever a guy says something stupid in a set and the girls don't even give him a reaction? One of them just says "so anyway..." and they get back to their conversation, with the guy snubbed by nobody paying attention to him?

That's what you need to do. Be like the "so anyway..." girl.

This is how I was tough to deal with that kinda situation

Don't be reactive, be pro-active
Realize that those people are just looking for your attention, they're under you and they want your approval, and your value. If you react, you're going down to their level. Instead try to bring them up to your level & value by being proactive. It's shit tests almost. if u react, you fail

When he says "Skiiing is for gays!" tell em' "Hey, I'm glad soooo glad there's another homo in the house! I was getting tired of talking to this beautiful girl!"
Don't give an honest response, reply with a joke, something ridiculous, that lets him know there's no way to stop your happiness. Just don't react negatively, emotionally or defensively to his negative approach. Instead, have pity for the guy, he's trying so hard just to get your attention & ur approval. give him his precious aproval and he'll realise he did all that for nothing, and he'll end up looking like the fool, not you.

It's a lot more complicated that that to explain, but thats the basics of being proactive towards "assholes"

You can ignore him...or you can make her look like a fool...joke on his expense....for example:

"You're a skier? that's GAY" -
Response: Wow...Man you are just saying that because you are attracted to me. I can find others men for you if you want.

And if you feel balsy: Big men with big cocks! :))
