Looking at this conversation we're heading in the wrong direction. Let's look at what you did right on this. You started with an indirect opener which is a personal preference and she hooked enough to respond to you, which is good.

She also checked out your profile from what she said, so she went an extra step there for you, which is a good sign.

Where we goofed is "What do you study in ConU?" This is a comfort building question. This is a typical question that 99% of guys use. There is nothing wrong with this really but we're still trying to build attraction right now!

I can't undo the past no more than you can so here is how we're going to spin it. I would say something like...

Chemistry huh....I see.... you are won of those... That reminds me of the time that me and....(Insert a DHV type Story)

This way we throw a "slight neg" not to be too easy. Insert the smiley so she knows we're teasing and not being an asshole. Then tell a short DHV story about us to build attraction. Then take it from there to her IM or Phone Number after a few more interactions.

I had a roommate who was studying chemistry, and once I had to rush her to hospital because she inhaled some gas from an experiment. well, she was a bit dumb (she really did drink water out of test tubes)... so if you are dumb, be careful. But I guess you'll be fine, since nosy people usually aer pretty smart ...

ok, things been going well here. and I 've reach the point that I should meet up with her. The thing is I can't really stretch the conversations more than this and I won't be back home till Jan. so this is what I was gonna write her intially. let me know how it is:
