hi yall, im relatively new to the pickup game, i've been on a dry spell for over a year, and im trying to end that and bring in a new level of action to my life.

so far i've read the Guy Gets Girl advanced material, watched both seasons of The Pickup Artist, and started reading The Game by Neil Strauss. from what i understand, the opinion-based openers are slightly outdated game, but in the last couple weeks of going downtown i've had any easy time opening sets and getting over my AA. I need to work on my mid-game, running gambits, DHVing and building Kino.

I understand the whole process (i think), but i just need to put it all into action. i'm looking forward to posting up some stories of my pickup attempts, and picking the brains of the community to sharpen my game.

any tips are always appreciated, but i think the most important thing for me is going to be trial and error. anyway, just wanted to say hi from Austin, TX!

Welcome to the forum and the community. You will find there are many ways to get the girl. The opinion openers are a little dated because they have been so emphasized by the show, and Mystery's books. However, there are all kinds of openers out there.

You are right in that trial & error in field is going to teach you more than what most of us can tell you.
