I've read quite a bit of stuff from Ty, I don't really like his methodology.

This will probably not make many people happy but I think tyler durden is a very great teacher, ive recently been watching his Blueprint DVD and im blown away with his teaching seems to be a little advanced for some people, it teaches more natural game and deeper level identity change instead of stupid shit like "heres a little creative pick up line and a great neg" or boosting your ego to insane levels that makes you so unattractive to women you are making things worse(i see this alot lately). Its about making yourself a happy individual and keeping it that way instead of making short term happiness through stupid little ego building. I think people are just siding on the side of mystery and style and just hating on him because their all holy god is tell him to hate him. Broaden your views a little and watch one of his videos before jumping the gun and say you hate him, I know because I came from the same stance on tyler.

holy shit I was about to give these people that exact same speech. this man breaks down shit to a level that many of you guys would benefit greatly from. yes he is kinda portrayed as an asshole in "the game" but who gives a shit. instead of letting styles lame attempt to shit on his career as revenge for proj hollywood, why dont you guys think for yourselves?

how many of you guys have seriously taken a look at what he teaches and his dvd's before just disregarding him?

I've watched the whole Blueprints set and I liked it. Most of the concepts I was already aware of and it wasn't as enlightening for me as it could be for a lot of the newbies out there.

His new stuff is not really about pickup. You see teachers like Mystery who offer a short, shallow (and effective) answer to being able to bed women. This will take you from loser to competent pretty fast. In my opinion, it is structured stuff like this that are best for those really lost ones out there who have terrible inner game.

Tyler's is much more advanced and is not about the bag of tricks and techniques to getting the girls. His Blueprint isn't really about meeting women at all, in fact through the whole program he rarely even mentions talking to girls and never gives any lines or gambits or anything. This is more about a personal identity change, to a place where you will be come more aware and natural. I honestly don't think that those who are brand new to the community have an accurate enough map of reality to make this change that Tyler is pushing for. Even if they do, they will still be just as socially awkward and hence, not much more successful with girls. This is why I think Tyler's material should be utilized by those who already have established social skills.

I have nothing against Tyler, or other controversial gurus like Ross Jeffries. I feel much more comfortable using many of the internalizations and state altering principles then using a really structured method like Mystery's. Structured game is a great quick fix and great way to increase one's relationship portfolio, but it does not have the same long term personal 'self help' that Tyler's has. The new RSD is all about portraying yourself as higher value than the target, and there is no need for DHV's or negs or structure. Look in to the material, and afterwards if you still haven't arrived at a place where you are comfortable doing this, then try something else and maybe return to this stuff in a couple months.
