I wonder if there are any PUAs that grow old and realize they could have been even happier. Probably to a lesser extent than the apartment hermit. Maybe i'm wrong, but using pre-written material, internalizing it, and spewing it out like it's who you are, doesn't this weaken your soft spot even if you get what you want? natural game seems like the way to go.

I really just want to here some of your perspectives on what I think Neil Strauss calls social robots.

Most Pua's just get more natural with time using canned material less and less. The canned routines are a crutch to get you started and after a time you find your own way.

Stop hesitating and get on the Natural Game bandwagon. Most of us are already here.

The canned routines is something you use while you are learning. As you start getting success with women you start realizing that you do not need them. I use my routines as a thing to fall back on if my improvised game fails.

using canned material and being a robot is not being a PUA. A PUA puts his own twist on the material so that it works more consistently for him.

Try improvising your routines... When you talk to your friends you come up with all kinds of stuff to talk about. It is the same with girls. Just remember to put in some keywords here and there. Like if you were somewhere with your ex-GF. Mention that.

"I was going shopping and had to get the car-keys from my ex-GF and on the way to her place..."
"I was chilling with my FRIENDS and suddenly my phone rings..."
"I was on my way from my KUNG-FU training when..."
"Me and my FRIENDS were going to the cinema to see XXXXXXX when I realize that..."

The stories do not have to have anything to do with that, you are just setting the scenario or putting it into context.

Feel free to just talk. Dont get caught up in a lot of routines...

LOL, haven`t been on a forum for a while and it changed pretty much. When I registred here cca 2 yeras ago I was being flamed for puting Natural game on piedestal and saying people to fuck off learning canned stuff and put all strength and time to improve themselves and now most people are on Natural bandwagon.

It is good, actually great feeling to see how Game and people mindsets have evolved.

Now don`t start flaming me for pointing that out!

It's really interesting to follow the trends of methods in the seduction community. Methods that focus on canned material are still valid... but they just feel less fulfilling, ya know?

Natural Game may offer a little less predictive power in some senses, but it opens your eyes to a more enlightened outlook on life and addresses deeper issues that are at the root of sticking points.

Even the most natural guys have their routines. They have several "go to" routines that they repeat over and over again. They take pride that they made these things up but who the hell knows? Everybody thinks that they're originators, right? I have my diving in Vietnam stories and the other guy has the boarding in Chamonix stories.(actually, that's my story too) Being really good means you can frame every conversation into your own. I frequently use my 3rd date F close set ups. I do the cocktail party things where I am now . . . The point is . . . everything does become a routine no matter what. And of course if you're a natural, new routines are developed on the field so when you get positive results . . . you repeat them in situations where it applies.

With cans, all you do is "borrow" another person's routine. I used to think this was really silly to do but now, I'm not so sure.

With this new trend towards the "natural game", I've noticed a lot of posters who take that on to mean, "Say what ever the hell you want." Natural Game does not = just saying whatever the hell you want to people. Many young guys are insulting women and insulting themselves in front of women and others . . . and not even realizing it. If they can't understand the fundamentals and foundations of what we're trying to accomplish, then I think canned materials are the way to go.

I'd rather tell girls, "You have a tall ladder going through your cube and horse and your teeth are curved like a C but your best friend is not really your best friend, so maybe I can get your opinion on Maury Povich because I have to leave this club in like 5 minutes . . . blah, blah, blah" than to tell them, "I am a harmless doormat, please walk all over me. But if you really do walk all over me, you're a bitch!" (Well, nobody really says this but some might as well as just say this. . .)

Promote cans!

People have their own stories, and routines in normal situations. To me being natural just means pay attention to what you're saying. Figure out what will hurt your chances to get close to a girl, and don't say it.

Mostly it's about cleaning up your image, building a self image that's attractive, and learning to read body language.
