I've looked into the pick up artist community for the last 6 months during the falling out between my girlfriend and I. I've been on forums reading but I've never gone into the field and actually tried to use what I've learned. I recentely decided to break up with my girlfriend because I was really unhappy and I wanted to make a huge life change. Along with this, I really wanted to take my goal of getting into the PUA scene seriously.
I started off by going to the mall to see where I was at from what I had learned. It was bad. I wasn't too nervous approaching women but after the opener I had nothing. I kept going completely blank. I started reading mystery's book but I still am not sure where to go after an opener as in specfic stories.
I'm not a real social person, part of the motivator for me wanting to get involved with becoming a PUA, but I am fascinated with social interactions. I think it would help me in a lot of areas of life being able to talk to people with ease.
Is there anyone who can guide me to some canned material I could use to help me start off? I would really appreciate it.
Anyway, the name is Chanc3 and I'll be seeing you around.

I guess my whole problem is the DHV stories. I thought they had to be some ridiculously interesting story but I read the guide and I'm prepared to go out now I think. I never looked at story telling the way he describes it.
Combined with what I've learned from mystery's book so far, I'm excited to go out and try to get my first number tonight. I've got a routine that I'm going to try out tonight after I get off of work. Most of it is going to be improv but I think now that I have an idea of how to answer questions, I'll be able to handle it.
