Hey guys,

Best advice I can give is to scan the forums, pickup as many openers, negs, routines as you can. Read Mysterys Venusian arts, don't take it as gospel but it will give you a great idea of a frame to work from.

Go out in the field and start using the canned stuff, the hardest thing I found was working out what to use and when, recognising when I should be negging or when I should use Kino.

This forum has a massive amount of information and some great people to help you out.

As you're using the canned stuff you need to be developing your own material, I found that a lot of my AA came from trying to think of and remember canned openers, and when you're in a set trying to think of material there can be some really uncomfortable pauses as you're trying to think of your next routine and that just makes you look bad and when the conversation doesn't flow you start to feel more anxious.

So be original, develop your own material, approach approach approach and most of all, Enjoy yourself!

Best of luck

Shadow,

Thanks for the tips man. Any advice is much appreciated and i totally agree with you that there is no experience like field experience so im going to get out there and give it a shot. I shall check out Mysterys book as you recommend and will try to absorb as much info as i can and i know that put inot practice it will all start to come easier.

Having a wing is something that i believe will be a big help with confidence and enthusiasm as support and feedback are the real factors of improvement and it is difficult to critique yourself. Any advice as to the best place to find a wing? I live in Brisbane Australia.

If there is anyone else out there that reads this and is in Brisbane looking for a wing and keen to develop their sarging skills, let me know.

Thanks Guys

Maltese

Basically anyone you know well and knows you, I have a couple of friends that really compliment my style when I go out.

One of them uses C+F but doesn't really know it, i'm trying to introduce him to the game and the other guy thinks the same way I do, doesn't care and is just out for fun.

Don't be ashamed of telling your friends what you are trying to learn, if they take the piss they'll only be jealous when you are picking up all the hot chicks on a night out with no effort.
