My movie choice is pretty geeky/nerdy, I enjoy the Lord of The Rings movies and the Star Wars movies are ok too. I LOOOOOVE the Jurassic Park movies (probably a childhood thing, I was obsessed with dinosaurs when I was very young).

When Pokemon cards came out I was all over that (Ha Ha the sheer excitement of getting a "shiney Charizard")

I used to play a lot of computer games when I was younger, saying that I've started playing them again now (after 10 weeks of going out 5/6 nights of the week I can't afford to go out so much now). Hard to beat a night in with the lads or SPAM with some beers and Xbox, good times.

So yeah, i'm far from a geek or nerd on the outside but inside i'm one of the biggest around. Jees I'm sad

Uhh, this feels like church confession, so here goes:

I read comics, specifically snappy graphic novels like Watchmen or Heavy Liquid. My best friend also draws for Marvel, so I'll read whatever he's working on or is into. Ninja/samurai comics are also a fave (this series called Kamui that came out about 20 years ago is awesome!).

I'm a lifelong gamer from back in the Commodore 64 days, but now I'm into the Xbox 360 (Pro Evo Soccer rules!). I'm also the de facto PC technician for my family and friends...

I'm big-time into world history, politics, and economics. I read a ton on this stuff, so I've got to be careful not to chase people away sometimes :)

I read literary classics - Dickens, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gogol, Hemingway, etc.

Because I've used them intensely on the job for 10 years now, I'm a fucking Powerpoint/Excel/Word master. Everyone comes to me to find out how to use the tiniest feature, which is pretty geeky. Same goes for networking and communications, the industry I'm in...

I'm a massive sports geek. I've toned down lately, but I used to be able to rhyme off every stat for every player in practically every sport. I love boxing too, which is kind of considered geeky now because it's so marginalized...
